🔵 Smarter EPC: Advancing the Future of Energy Performance Certification in Europe
Smarter EPC is creating a unique, open-access Hub that empowers assessors and stakeholders across the construction and energy sectors. The Hub will provide next-generation tools for issuing innovative Energy Performance Certificates (EPCs) and conducting Smart Readiness Indicator (SRI) assessments.
🌍 Key Goals:
Bridge the gap between assessors and advanced tools developed by EU R&I projects under the NextGenEPC and SRI clusters
Harmonise EPC and SRI certificates and validate joint inspection procedures
Enable automated export of certificates through adaptation of existing European standards
Promote training and certification programmes to raise assessor expertise to competitive levels
Support EU and national policies on SRI, including mandatory assessments for buildings over 290 kW by 2026
This initiative is coordinated by R2M Solution SAS (France) and contributes to the European Union’s goals of digitalisation, sustainability, and smarter buildings.
