Mit SmartLivingNEXT entsteht ein KI-basiertes Ökosystem für die Domäne Smart Living. Den Kern bildet ein sicherer Zugangspunkt zu allen relevanten Daten in Wohngebäuden. Durch dessen offene und schlanke Struktur kann die Entwicklung intelligenter Smart-Living-Dienste vereinfacht und nachhaltiger gestaltet werden. Im Datenökosystem können die bewährten, in Wohngebäuden bereits eingesetzten digitalen Technologien integriert und kombiniert werden. Das im Projekt verfolgte semantische Dataspace Konzept belässt Daten in ihren Ursprungsumgebungen und stellt der SmartLivingNEXT Community KI-unterstützte Basisservices zur Datenanalyse, Prognose und Mustererkennung bereit. Die dafür benötigten Kataloge, Werkzeuge und Konnektoren liefert das Leitprojekt ForeSightNEXT. Sechs weitere SmartLivingNEXT-Projekte forschen parallel an der Umsetzung konkreter Use Cases, vor allem in den Bereichen Energie und Assistenz.
SmartLivingNEXT ist ein vom Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Klimaschutz (BMWK) durchgeführter Förderaufruf auf Grundlage des Förderprogramms „Entwicklung digitaler Technologien“. Im Gesamtprogramm stehen Fördermittel von rund 25 Mio. Euro zur Verfügung.
