Smith Dosser is a Benalla based Accounting Firm that has been running since the 1940’s. Starting as HF Fox & Co as a branch of the Melbourne based firm. It was in 1962 that Jim Smith purchased the business from Henry Fox & it has been in the Smith family ever since! Over time we have had numerous principals share in the business, Ray O’Shannessy (1975), Brendan Smith (1995), Tony Smith (1999), Wal Pfeiffer (2001) & Vicki Dosser (2001). In 2006, in recognition of the changes to directors of the firm, the current name was adopted. Jim Smith, Ray O’Shannessy & Wal Pfeiffer have since retired. Brendan Smith has stepped down as a partner but is still actively involved in the accounting business & continues his financial planning work with OzPlan Financial Services. The current partners are Tony Smith & Vicki Dosser. Our firm is totally independent & provides all services & advice without bias or influence from any external parties. The interests of clients are paramount. Our directors have professional backgrounds in accounting & management consultancy. Our tax team continually monitor changes to tax law, government incentives & the general business environment to help you adjust & take advantage of opportunities.
