With a proud history spanning back to 1913, the Students of Natural and Agricultural Sciences (SNAGS) is a Faculty Society at the University of Western Australia devoted to all students studying in the associated majors/disciplines of the School of Biological Sciences, the School of Agriculture & Environment and the School of Earth Sciences. (Agricultural Science, Botany, Zoology, Geology, Marine Science, Environmental Science, Conservation Biology &
Natural Resource Management).
As a Faculty Society we represent our students in the Schools, Faculty of Science, V-C & UWA Student Guild in matters of university education.
We also hold several events throughout the university year that allows students to socialise with their peers, and develop contact networks within the industry.
As a group, we are looking to expand in the coming years, by developing a broader community within the university and industry, giving students greater opportunities to have a richer university experience, and find their desired career once graduating.
