Established in 2010, Snooze serves the higher education market, offering an array of services that seek to eliminate every grey area surrounding the registration process. Snooze is hosted on Microsoft’s cloud services platform, Windows Azure. Windows Azure provides our forecasting system with the ability to be robust and scalable from the start. As a result, our system is powerful enough to crunch massive amounts of data for any school, regardless of size. With cloud computing technology, we also allow ourselves the opportunity to cut out much of the costly infrastructure and system security that plague many small businesses. This allows us more time and money to allocate to meeting the needs of our customers. Our first product on the market is Snooze Analytics which predicts student course demand three years in advance. Embedded within our software lie the definitive statistical ratios and probability ratios that together make sound decisions. With this information, school administrators will be able to make the best decisions regarding not only class offerings but fund allocations. Having this information will also allow department chairs the ability to go out and hire the best teachers on the market years before the rest of the competition. To power the results of these statistic and probability ratios, we use both historical data and future projections.
