Soapy is een SBP (small business project), opgericht door 6 studenten Handelswetenschappen aan de UHasselt. Het concept is simpel, een spons die vanzelf zeept om zo het gemak te bevorderen van kotstudenten of de occasionele afwasser. Met Soapy proberen we een impact te maken op de huishoudelijke schoonmaaksector door middel van afwasproblemen op te lossen en tegelijkertijd toch aandacht te hebben voor het milieu, want dat is de dag van vandaag van uiterst belang. We benadrukken de bijdrage aan het milieu door zelf onze zeep te produceren, bij het productieproces proberen we dan ook zoveel mogelijk ecologische producten te gebruiken. Zo spelen we in op de alsmaar grotere zorg om de gezondheid van de aarde. Verder hanteren we ook een zeer minimalistische, maar toch effectieve verpakking.
