Software Campus: Der Accelerator für Leadership-Talente
Promotionsstudierende der Informatik bereiten sich mit dem Software Campus theoretisch und praktisch auf künftige Führungsaufgaben vor. Die Teilnehmenden forschen zusammen mit einem Unternehmen ca. zwei Jahre an realen Anwendungsfällen und führen dabei ihr eigenes Team. Außerdem bauen sie in Trainings neues Wissen zu Management und Führung auf und werden von erfahrenen Manager*innen in einem Mentoring begleitet.
Insgesamt 18 Universitäten, Forschungseinrichtungen und Unternehmen gestalten den Software Campus gemeinsam, das Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung (BMBF) fördert das Programm.
Partner des Führungskräfteentwicklungsprogramms sind: Technische Universität Berlin, Technische Universität Darmstadt, Karlsruher Institut für Technologie (KIT), Technische Universität München, Deutsches Forschungszentrum für Künstliche Intelligenz (DFKI), Fraunhofer-Verbund IuK-Technologie, Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, Universität Stuttgart und Technische Universität Dresden sowie die Industrieunternehmen Bosch, Celonis, DATEV eG, die Holtzbrinck Publishing Group, Huawei, Merck, TRUMPF Gruppe, die Carl Zeiss AG, die Volkswagen AG und der Management-Partner Talentik GmbH (vormals EIT ICT Labs Germany GmbH).
