קבוצת זוגלובק, מחלוצות חברות המזון בישראל, החלה את דרכה בשנת 1937, כמפעל קטן ואיכותי לייצור מוצרי נקניק ובשר כשר. המפעל הוקם בנהריה ע"י אירמרגרד (יונה) וריינהולד (אברהם) זוגלובק, כממשיך דרכו של מפעל משפחתי ותיק ורב-מוניטין בגרמניה. עם עלייתם לארץ ישראל העתיקו בני המשפחה את הקונספט המצליח למפעל החדש בנהריה, והחלו לייצר ולשווק מוצרי בשר ונקניק תוך הקפדה בלתי מתפשרת על איכות וטריות. עם השנים המפעל הלך וצמח, הרחיב את תחומי פעילותו לקטגוריות נוספות, החל לייצא את תוצרתו למדינות אירופה, ארה"ב ויפן, והפך לקבוצת מזון מהגדולות והמובילות בישראל.
