Solarify is a daughter company for EcoVille Solar Technologies.
The company was founded in Armenia in 2004 and started the investment and development of its first hydro power plant project. Between 2004 to 2014 the company has invested in 10 hydro power plants with a total capacity of 30.9MW. It has undertaken the operation and maintenance of the power plants and generates around 110 million kWh of energy annually.
In 2015 EcoVille extended its operations to solar photovoltaic and solar water heating businesses, specialized in design, installation, maintenance and operation of solar photovoltaic and solar water heating projects for residential and commercial customers, as well in design, development, construction and operation/maintenance of solar farms.
In 2016 it became an official partner with world-renowned Austrian solar inverter manufacturer - Fronius International.
In 2017 it became an official partner with a leading Tier-1 solar panel manufacturer in the world - JA Solar Holdings.
In 2019 the company started its international operations from Georgian market through its local branch.
In 2021 EcoVille set up a new direction of its business: electric vehicles and electric charging stations.
EcoVille, through its daughter company Volta Motors has become an official distributor of one of the leading electric vehicle manufacturers, Geely Auto. It has also paved the foundation to create an electric vehicle charging infrastructure.
In 2021 Solarify, the US branch of EcoVille was founded in California. The company is specialized in design, installation, maintenance and operation of solar photovoltaic and battery storage systems for residential customers.
EcoVille Solar Technologies currently has a highly qualified team of more than 200 people. In 2021 it has designed and installed solar residential, commercial and utility-scale projects of 70MW total capacity. The number of residential solar water heating systems installed from 2017-2021 is close to 10,000 units.
