Solihull Cultural Education Partnership (CEP) is a network of arts and cultural professionals, education providers & creative advocates, who collaborate to create opportunities for children & young people (aged 0–25yrs) in Solihull to access the arts.
Our annual programmes include:
- Core Young Professionals: Creative Careers Conference, which brings together sector professionals to share knowledge and expertise for young people and emerging creatives.
- Tea party event, which provides arts organisations the opportunity to connect directly with schools and youth services.
- Gallery exhibition, celebrating local student talent from across schools in Solihull. Presented at The Core Theatre.
Other programmes have included:
-Gen22 young artist incubators, which provided meaningful work experience opportunities to young people across TV, film, visual arts, music and theatre. Funded by United by 2022.
-Young Core Creatives, which is an extension to Gen22 offering mentorships for young people to embed themselves in the arts and cultural sector.
-My Community, My Heritage, My Place new communities programme, bringing workshops into 20 schools to celebrate new communities.
- Moments of Wow, a 3 stranded program working with Sampad, Art At The Heart CIC and Big Brum TIE to deliver various interventions across nearly 30 schools.
