📚 TRAINING: Jen Appel also works with Deepak Puri (formerly of Silicon Valley’s Oracle, and now of The Democracy Labs) online, across the nation, to create live, interactive maps showcasing important citizen journalism from local communities. These maps allow a single link to then be sent to mass media outlets, providing a visual representation of all the great work happening on the ground, while also alerting people to upcoming rallies and events. Additionally, they have created a story form to capture real time experiences from the community, that are also featured on the map. In addition, we guide individuals on how to send private messages and flash alerts for mass mobilization in safe and secure ways.
