Stichting PAWW (Private Aanvulling WW & WGA) is in het leven geroepen nadat in 2016 de duur van de WW en loongerelateerde WGA verkort werd van 38 maanden naar maximaal 2 jaar.
Vakbonden en werkgevers hebben zich verenigd om te voorkomen dat (voormalige) werknemers na 2 jaar opeens zonder inkomen komen te zitten. De PAWW verlengt het recht op een uitkering na betaalde arbeid weer tot het oude niveau.
Organisatie
Stichting PAWW bestaat uit een stichtingsbestuur met een ondersteunend bestuursbureau. De Stichting werkt nauw samen met diverse partijen zoals de Stichting van de Arbeid, decentrale cao-partijen en werkgevers. De administratieve en technische uitvoering van de regeling is ondergebracht bij operationeel uitvoerder Visma Idella.
Voor wie is de PAWW?
De PAWW-regeling is voor werknemers die werkloos of (gedeeltelijk) arbeidsongeschikt zijn en waarvan hun uitkering afloopt. Om gebruik te kunnen maken van de regeling, moet je werkgever wel deelnemen aan de PAWW.

Wat kan de werkgever doen?
Als werkgever wil je je arbeidsvoorwaardelijke zaken natuurlijk prima geregeld hebben. Een aanvulling op de WW of loongerelateerde WGA is hier een goed voorbeeld van. De Private Aanvulling WW en WGA (PAWW) compenseert voor de verkorting van deze uitkeringen in 2016.
Werkgevers kunnen zich aanmelden bij Stichting PAWW om de aanvulling te regelen voor hun werknemers. Maar ook sectoren, branches en decentrale cao-partijen kunnen dit doen.
