La SPCA Montérégie est un véritable havre d'espoir pour les animaux abandonnés, négligés et maltraités. Situé sur la Rive-Sud de Montréal, notre refuge est géré par des bénévoles et soutenu par huit soigneurs animaliers ainsi que deux vétérinaires. Nous sommes fiers d'avoir été les précurseurs au Québec en instaurant la stérilisation obligatoire avant l'adoption et en créant un refuge sans euthanasie. Ne recevant aucune aide financière gouvernementale, nous dépendons uniquement des dons du public pour poursuivre notre mission :
- Sauver et protéger les animaux de la cruauté et de la négligence.
- Fournir des soins vétérinaires complets aux animaux malades et blessés.
- Faciliter les adoptions dans des foyers aimants grâce à notre programme d'adoption.
- Offrir des familles d'accueil temporaires pour les animaux nécessitant des soins spécialisés.
- Soutenir le bien-être à long terme des animaux confrontés à des défis grâce à notre programme de parrainage.
- Sensibiliser la communauté aux pratiques de bien-être animal.

SPCA Montérégie has emerged as a beacon of hope for abandoned, neglected, and abused animals. Located on the South Shore of Montreal, our shelter is managed by volunteers and supported by eight animal caretakers and two veterinarians. We are proud to have been pioneers in Quebec by instituting mandatory sterilization before adoption and creating a no-kill shelter. Receiving no government financial assistance, we rely solely on public donations to continue our mission:
- Rescue and protect animals from cruelty and neglect.
- Provide comprehensive veterinary care to sick and injured animals.
- Facilitate adoptions to loving homes through our adoption program.
- Offer temporary fostering for animals requiring specialized care.
- Support the long-term welfare of animals facing challenges through our sponsorship program.
- Educate the community on animal welfare practices.
