Dr. Nicole Bishop, SLP.D., CCC-SLP is a Speech-Language Pathologist and Owner of Speech Therapy Works, a private speech and language therapy practice in Sugar Land, Texas. Nicole is a Chapter Leader for the National Stuttering Association's Sugar Land, Texas Family Chapter. She also serves as a Peer Reviewer for Continuing Education in Fluency Research (from The American Speech-Language-Hearing Association). Nicole served on the peer review panel for the research study, “Temperament and Childhood Stuttering: Theory, evidence, and clinical practice,” conducted by the Vanderbilt Speech-Language Pathology Journal Club. She presented a podium presentation on the topic of “Red Flags for Speech and Language Development” at the “Heirloom Parenting” symposium in 2016.
Nicole’s primary areas of interest and expertise are in the assessment and treatment of individuals with fluency disorders (i.e., stuttering/cluttering), speech sound disorders (articulation and phonological processes), language delays/disorders, genetic disorders, and pediatric neurological speech and language impairments.
