Spiels is shaping an engaging platform for early-stage entrepreneurs to creatively express their ideas and needs to potential teammates, mentors, and the curious public. The team formed to solve the very problem its founders ran into trying to build teams as extracurricular side-hustles in the college environment. To identify and engage with the right student talent and experienced-alumni support outside organized systems (i.e. incubators, fellowships, and clubs), we found the existing digital networking systems to be impractical for the average entrepreneur. These systems are not built for early-stage startup needs, rather for larger-scale career pathways. Being designed for the formal job-application process, many of these tools are over-complicated and over-structured to quickly and successfully engage young talent still defining their own entrepreneurial direction. The cross-functional team that makes up Spiels is made up of talented and engaging humans collaborating from Italy, Chicago, and Detroit. Our team is working hard to ensure you get Spiels in your hands soon, but we're also spending time building a family. Off the clock, we're entangled in each others' social lives. When together in person, we spend hours laughing over nerdy jokes drinking beer.
