Der gemeinnützige Spinnerei e.V. ist seit 2014 als politisch und konfessionell unabhängiger Initiator, Projektleiter und Partner von kulturellen und soziokulturellen Projekten in Chemnitz und Region tätig und fördert durch sein ambitioniertes Handeln nachhaltig das Gemeinwohl. Der Verein möchte durch sein Wirken gesellschaftliche Herausforderungen aufgreifen und Handlungs- und Lösungsansätze mit Hilfe künstlerischer Aktivitäten entwickeln. Uns ist es ein großes Anliegen interdisziplinär zu arbeiten, indem die Bereiche (bildende) Kunst, Kultur, Wissenschaft und Gesellschaft gezielt verknüpft werden. Die einhergehenden Synergieeffekte sollen zukunftsweisende Modelle hervorbringen, welche die Kulturregion Chemnitz überregional fördern und nachhaltig stärken.
