Der Sportmanagement-Deutschland-Cup dient seit 2005 als Plattform für angehende Sportmanager*innen für den Ausbau ihres Netzwerkes im Business und für den Austausch unter den Teilnehmenden.
Dabei erhalten Studierende, Dozent*innen und Professor*innen die Möglichkeit, neue Kontakte hochschul- bzw. universitäts-übergreifend zu knüpfen.
Hauptbestandteil ist wie bei jeder Durchführung der Veranstaltung das Fußballturnier, bei welchem mehrere Frauen- und Herrenmannschaften im Heinz-Ziehl-Sportpark um den begehrten Titel wetteifern können.
Spaß und Entertainment sollen dabei natürlich im Vordergrund stehen – neben einem Sportbusinesstalk mit prominenten Persönlichkeiten aus der Sportwelt und einem anschließenden Get-Together stehen zahlreiche weitere Highlights auf dem Programm.
