2014年，“春雨掌上医生”更名为“春雨医生”，由一个APP发展成为一个大型的移动医疗服务平台。截至2016年底，春雨医生已经覆盖了儿科、皮肤科等17个常见科室，吸引超过50万公立医院执业医师入驻平台，累积服务患者超过2亿人次，积累了数亿条健康信息。做到日解决问题峰值33万，3分钟极速响应，24小时不间断服务。
“春雨医生”的核心功能是“自诊”和“问诊”。前者是基于权威医学数据库和病案研究开发的健康自测系统，可以快速帮助用户确定身体不适的可能原因；后者则是基于真实医生实时互动的健康问答，及时便捷的为用户提供专业解答。
经过五年多的数据累积和使用训练，春雨医生的“自诊”模块，已经成为国内健康领域使用最频繁的人工智能产品，提供包括自我诊断、机器导诊、众包分诊、辅助追问、辅助决策等多项功能，成为名符其实的“健康大脑”。
“问诊”模块则进化为了互联网医疗的“连接器”。除了提供连接医患的核心功能，问诊平台还提供连接诸如智能健康检测设备、第三方医疗检测机构、医院信息化系统、医药电商平台和医保支付平台等功能，逐步成为互联网医疗的一体化服务平台。
