The Material Advantage program is an International student organization specifically created for undergraduate and graduate students enrolled in Material Science Engineering programs at universities worldwide. A member of Material Advantage automatically gets the membership for the partnering professional bodies.
Material Advantage SRMIST Student chapter is a non-profit organization, which serves as a platform to bridge the communication between students and Industry professional through various educational activities like workshops, presentations, technical challenges, etc.
Our organizing committee consists of a group of enthusiastic students who are deeply committed towards the progress of our chapter under the able guidance of our faculty advisor Mr. Vinoth. A at SRM Institute of Science and Technology, Kattankulathur, Chennai.

Our mission is to ensure high level of services to our members in various areas like Networking, Education and Career development.
On the international levels, members can take advantages of all networking opportunities ranging from attending conferences and meetings conducted by the chapter to meeting their future employers and learn about career possibilities through this community.
Along with that members get access to scholarship opportunities of over $600,000 and grants annually. Based on their performance, they can win prizes in the contests conducted by our chapter.
Our chapter helps members to build every necessary skills that benefits them to pursue a successful Engineering career.
