We are a youth-led, non-profit organization dedicated to building peace and countering violence through research based approaches, youth empowerment, awareness raising and advocacy. We envision a peaceful world with a productive youth population, free of violent extremism and social injustice. Our mission is to foster peace, strengthen resilience, and prevent/counter violent extremism through advocacy, empowerment, awareness-raising, and capacity building. At SRP, we believe in strengthening resilience across local communities by targeting individuals and youth groups in order to truncate the spread of violent extremist ideologies and agendas. We stand firm against terrorism, violent extremism, and organized crime by nurturing the potential of our youth and communities. Our work spans across vital areas such as human rights, peace, and justice, environmental protection, and gender empowerment— ensuring a holistic approach to sustainable peace and development. We strive to achieve our vision and mission through: - Enhancing community resilience to bounce back from conflict. - Promoting peace-building policies at local and national levels. - Protecting children and youth from violence and engaging them in peace-building activities. - Empowering youth to realize their full potential and safeguarding social justice.
