Our primary divisions include Neurosurgery, Nephrology, Orthopaedic Surgery, General Surgery, Urology, Obstetrics & Gynaecology, Medicine, and Medical Gastroenterology; each department has its own Senior Full-Time Consultant. We frequently bring visiting Oncologists to Dibrugarh for cancer treatments & surgery as well. Additionally, we have multiple state-of-the-art ICU's, a 24x7 Emergency Care Department with Critical Care Units, a brand-new state-of-the-art Haemodialysis Unit, and 24x7 Pathology & Radiology Departments.
Srimanta Sankardeva Hospital & Research Institute has been awarded with the prestigious ISO 9001 : 2015 CERTIFICATION for its continuous quality management system by the British Standard Institute (BSI). We are the first amongst Private Hospitals in upper Assam, & 3rd in the entire North East, to get this international certification.
The hospital makes constant efforts in servicing the community with very affordable pricing structures. Additionally, Sankardeva Hospital regularly conducts free health camps across the entire region, along with free distribution of medicines in remote areas of Assam and neighboring states, to serve those members of the community who are unable to afford proper care.
