In 2016 the Stag Group - with its controlled companies Spectech UK, Spectech France, Spectech US and ACES, has been acquired by ALA - Advanced Logistics for Aerospace.

STAG are recognised distributors of aerospace parts for leading manufacturers, which include BAE Systems, Westland Helicopters, Bearing manufacturers Barden, SNR & Nadella. The group counts the UK Ministry of Defence as well as most of the major NATO forces as part of its customer base.
Components and Parts procurement can safely be left in the hands of the STAG staff with complete confidence while the customers concentrate on their own core business. Thanks to the STAG stores management system aircraft are kept operational and not grounded due to lack of components.
This is achieved by the expert use of a wide ranging approved supplier base, the holding of critical stock, the packing of items to customer requirements and a thorough quality inspection system. To complement this STAG operate its own in house forecasting system for major customers to predict demand and ensure that orders are placed on suppliers to ensure timely delivery to the point of use.
