STANDARD PHARMACEUTICALS LIMITED (SPL) is the foremost Indian pharmaceutical company having presence in various therapeutic segments for more than 60 years. It is dedicated to provide high quality medicines which are manufactured at its state-of-the art facilities in West Bengal. Founded and Nurtured by eminent scientists Dr. Hemendra Nath Ghosh & Dr. Vikram Sarabhai launched Penicillin in 1935 for the first time in Asia as STANPEN. This is also used as important intermediates for new molecules.
SPL has presence in Beta- Lactum, Non - Betalactum, Liquid and Oral products and has a plethora of brands like STANPEN, VINKOLA, LIVERGEN AND SQUINO BAEL which were once on the pen of most famous and renowned Indian medical practitioners. Dr Bidhan Chandra Roy, on whose name, the Doctor's Day is celebrated was an ardent prescriber of LIVERGEN for hepatic and gastrointestinal disease conditions of his patients.
Currently bestowed with the GMP & ISO - 9001 - 2008 Certifications, SPL is known for their commitment in making quality medicines available to the masses.
