Startup Smartup is an educational resource that inspires students to be young entrepreneurs and provides them with the tools to do so, including in-depth video tutorials, step-by-step guides and connections to local area mentors.

In addition to good grades, athletics and extracurricular activities, being a business owner creates a depth of character admissions officers rarely see. Similarly, prospective employers will see a recent graduate who has now owned a business for 5-8 years as a rarity and someone that may stand out from the competition.
