Networking & Lobby
Brussels is the European capital of lobby, it has more than 20,000 organisations devoted to this activity. It provides entrepreneurs participating in its program with contact with international companies present in the BENELUX market. Through Finnova and in collaboration with the Brussels Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BECI), the entrepreneur has a network of more than 35,000 companies from which potential partners or clients are selected. On the other hand, entrepreneurs also have access to private investors such as the European Business Angels Network (EBAN). The objective of these activities is to give visibility to the entrepreneur's start-up to potential clients, partners and distributors.
EU funding as an internationalisation tool
One of the most important objectives for startups is to achieve internationalization. It facilitates the achievement of this objective through EU strategy participation in projects and calls for proposals within the Horizon 2020 programme. It assists the participants so that their startup can be part of an international consortium, from which they can access potential clients and strategic partners.
