A Startup Weekend is an exciting and immersive 3-day foray into the world of startups. Over a weekend, startup enthusiasts are offered the opportunity to develop their idea from a back-of-napkin sketch to a business model, presenting it then to a jury of experts on the third day.
The 54-hour event provides the perfect environment to test an idea, gain experience with like-minded people, and get a first experience of what it takes to launch a startup.
Beginning with idea pitches on Friday evening, the event continues through brainstorming, business plan development, and the creation of basic prototypes that will be showcased with demos and presentations on Sunday evening.
In Switzerland, Startup Weekend hosts multiple events every year across all major cities.
