Many pupils very quickly feel part of the St David’s family with its unique, supportive and caring atmosphere. The school’s academic success, with a 98% A-level pass rate and a majority of students successfully gaining entrance to university, is supported by an industry-leading outdoor education program and a growing list of extra-curricular activities and clubs. Education at St David’s is not just confined to the classroom. In addition to the traditional sports on offer, more than 20 excursions leave site each week including activities such as climbing, sailing, skiing, kayaking, and kite buggying to name a few. Each year a number of expeditions are arranged further afield such as Kayaking in Canada, surfing in Morocco, and even a husky expedition in Sweden. Within the campus, there are a number of popular clubs and activities including canoeing, climbing, fishing, dance, and drama. These all serve to build confidence, self-esteem, and leadership skills in our students, which leads to increased enthusiasm for school life. In addition to a wide range of academic qualifications and leadership skills, students leave St David’s with the foundations to reach their full potential. Every student has the freedom to flourish and the opportunity to excel.
