We are a team of MIT students who aim to celebrate the hidden gems of the start-up world (women). Based on research and some of our personal experiences, we know that women face a lot of biases in the start-up world. As a result, they are often overlooked and large gaps in funding exist. This is unfortunate because women have the ability to create so much value. The purpose of this showcase is to celebrate the wonderful women run start-ups at MIT/ Wellesley and inspire the next generation of female entrepreneurs.
