Onze missie
Stichting Hoormij vindt dat iedereen het recht heeft om mee te doen in de maatschappij. Ook mensen bij wie het gehoor of het spreken voor problemen zorgt. Iedereen met een gehooraandoening of een taalontwikkelingsstoornis moet zo goed mogelijk kunnen functioneren in een omgeving met horende en communicatief vaardige medemensen.
Is het meedraaien in de maatschappij door een gehooraandoening of een taalontwikkelingsstoornis (tijdelijk) niet haalbaar, dan streeft Stichting Hoormij naar erkenning door partners, familie, ouders, vrienden, werkgevers en andere betrokkenen.
