Stichting KidzBase is een goed doel dat zich in zet voor kinderen (0-21 jaar) in Noord,- en Midden-Limburg die niet veilig thuis kunnen opgroeien. Deze kinderen zijn uit huis geplaatst vanwege een verstoorde thuissituatie door huiselijk geweld, seksueel misbruik, verwaarlozing en/of verslavingsproblematieken van ouders en ze wonen in woongroepen en gezinshuizen. De kinderen hebben in hun jonge leven al veel meegemaakt en ze hebben niet de veilige en stabiele basis vanuit thuis die elk kind verdient en nodig heeft. Ze hebben weinig tot geen contact met hun ouders/familie en ook broertjes en zusjes wonen vaak verspreid. Ze kampen met hechtingsstoornissen, verlatingsangst en voelen zich vaak eenzaam en ongezien.
Door middel van kleinschalige projecten probeert KidzBase kleur te geven aan het leven van deze beschadigde kinderen en ze het gevoel te geven dat ze speciaal zijn en er mogen zijn.
