Die Stiftung Pigna Raum für Menschen mit Behinderung ist ein soziales Unternehmen. Sie ist von Bund und Kanton Zürich anerkannt. Pigna wurde 1981 von 28 politischen Gemeinden aus dem Zürcher Glattal und dem Zürcher Unterland sowie von einigen Organisationen und Privatpersonen gegründet.
Menschen mit Beeinträchtigung in ihrem Lebens-, Arbeits- und Wohnraum sind unser Auftrag. Wir fördern und unterstützen, begleiten, betreuen, beschäftigen und pflegen. Um diesen Auftrag erfüllen zu können, bieten wir 111 Wohnplätze in verschiedenen Wohnformen an. Weiter stehen für Menschen mit Beeinträchtigung 170 Arbeits- und Beschäftigungsplätze in Werkstätten und einem Dienstleistungsbetrieb sowie 55 Plätze in der Tagesstätte zur Verfügung.
Pigna ist an mehreren Standorten im Zürcher Glattal und im Zürcher Unterland tätig. Eine besondere Bedeutung für die Stiftung Pigna hat das Gasthaus Hans im Glück in Kloten. Dieses wird von Profis aus Gastronomie zusammen mit Menschen mit Beeinträchtigung geführt und ist selbsttragend.
