Creating educational opportunities together!
Poverty and social disadvantages threaten children and adolescents worldwide, and, thus, the future of the societies in which they live. The fact that many children and adolescents do not have access to adequate education seems to be closely associated with poverty and inequality worldwide.
Founded in 2019 as a non-profit association with headquarters in Moers, Germany, the team of Students for Amani e.V. currently consists of 12 international volunteer members. Our mission is to provide children with access to an adequate education in a safe environment and simultaneously a way out of the cycle of poverty. Specifically, we focus on providing educational opportunities to orphans in Kenya and Romania.
What makes our association unique?
1. Cooperating with carefully selected small-scale aid organizations that engage themselves for the rights of disadvantaged children and adolescents.
2. Full transparency for our donors - 100% of the donations go to the selected purpose.
3. Our donors can choose which of our projects they would like to support and can follow closely via our social media channels and newsletter how their money flows into the educational services.
4. Close personal contact with our collaborators, the children's caregivers, and our donors and supporters.
