I tillegg er stiftelsen en tydelig samfunnsaktør som skal engasjere til debatt, øke kunnskap om muligheter for våre målgrupper og dele informasjon til personer utsatt for alvorlig skade eller sykdom og deres pårørende, kommunehelsetjenesten samt politikere og myndighetsapparatet.

The Sunnaas Foundation is a private non-profit foundation that works to enable people with disabilities to master their life situation, develop and live good and active lives.
The foundation's work is nationwide, and will supplement and strengthen the offer in the publicly funded health service. We combine professional competence with peer work through our own projects that promote mastery, innovation and development of new technology that provides new opportunities for our target groups and through research projects in collaboration with renowned research environments that bring the field of rehabilitation forward.
