One such notable job was the design and installation of the CCTV camera system onto the “Sea Shepherd – Steve Irwin” – the marine conservation society ship that patrols the Southern Ocean around Antarctica harassing the Japanese Whaling Fleet each southern summer. Having to function seamlessly in a super harsh environment, the system was satellite linked to a recording server in Florida on the mainland USA. Some of the footage shown on the Animal Planet documentary series “Whale Wars” was taken from our system.
