The Swan Centre is an outpatient eating disorders clinic providing up-to-date individual, family and group-based therapy. We provide holistic and collaborative care for those experiencing eating disorders, disordered eating, and body image concerns. We understand the complexities and comorbidities that can be intertwined, and provide trauma-informed, neurodiversity-affirming and inclusive care. The Swan Centre is an inclusive space that provides treatment and care to those who need it. All of our clinicians are highly trained and experienced in eating disorder therapies, as well as other mental health complexities, including PTSD and Complex Trauma.
We also provide support and education for parents, families, partners and caregivers, health professionals, schools and the broader community.
The Swan Centre has a strong focus on research in order to improve the understanding and treatment of eating disorders. Research conducted by our team members has been published in international peer-reviewed journals and has been presented at many national and international conferences.
