Why SweetAble exists (the back story!)
My diabetic Dad had Alzheimer’s and couldn’t understand why he wasn’t allowed to have biscuits or cakes.
My kids were getting bombarded with foods that were loaded with added and hidden sugars, blunting their taste buds and potentially putting their health at risk.
Almost everyday I would read another news story about poor diet leading to obesity, diabetes and long term health problems.
I decided to put on my chefing whites, head to my home kitchen and find a way to make sweet treats that my Dad and kids could eat which were healthy and natural, but more importantly that they would want to eat because they tasted great!
After years of trial and error, and force-feeding my kids with numerous samples, I invented SweetAble™ a new natural, healthy cooking ingredient
that reduces sugar, fat and calories in cakes, puddings and a whole bunch of other cooked foods (basically any food that contains sugar).
Sadly my Dad passed away in December 2020, but he did get to enjoy many sweet goodies that I made for him using SweetAble™, although he never twigged that they were made with my secret new ingredient!
Having shared SweetAble™ outside of close family and friends I have been joined by other equally passionate and fanatical foodies, that like me are
committed to making SweetAble™ a success. We have patent applications in the UK and overseas and more importantly a cunning plan!
After 3 years of perfecting recipes from their humble & sometimes inedible beginnings, trailing them in a local Gastro Pub, doing blind tastings with friends, family & unsuspecting strangers we have solved the big calorie reduction problem ! Now cant wait to share it…
