I coach business professionals, leaders, and athletes to maximize their performance. My system generates steady growth in areas like mindset, decision making, and communication. After identifying specific goals that are critical to success, I guide clients through a process that involves detailed measurable action items and diligent practice to achieve – and often exceed -- those targets. Outcomes range from individual career advancement to team culture building to competitive championships. My approach is a combination of rigor and heart that I’ve honed over 15 years as collegiate Head Sailing Coach at Stanford University and the U.S. Coast Guard Academy. During this time, I turned around one unraked team into National Champions and another team suffering from weak culture into a winning environment. My experience coaching top tier competitive athletes enables me to bring those approaches into the business world. I generate results for my clients with a blend of keen observation, direct feedback, empathetic support and persistent accountability. I am passionate about uncovering the unique strengths and core drivers of each individual in order to tailor a plan for exceptional performance. I believe that everyone is a leader and that leadership development is the backbone for success. My aim is to challenge clients to reach the next level through a process of continual discovery.
