ACHTERGROND:
Wereldwijd wordt 1.900.000.000 ton CO2 uitgestoten door verlichting en besteden we per jaar €195.000.000.000,- aan energie en nieuwe lampen. Door nieuwe LED technologie op grote schaal toe te passen kunnen we hier wereldwijd tot 60% op besparen.
Bij de inrichting van ons nieuwe kantoor lag de keuze dus voor de hand; door slimme LED verlichting te plaatsen konden we een bijdrage leveren aan de vermindering van CO2 uitstoot en ondertussen besparen op energiekosten! Simpel toch? Helaas niet.
De verlichtingsindustrie heeft geen haast, LED lampen blijven duur, de kwaliteit verschilt enorm van merk tot merk, er is geen onafhankelijk advies en geen goede service. Om toch goede LED verlichting te krijgen zonder daar onnodig veel voor te betalen, hebben we de LED markt tot op de bodem uitgezocht. Missie geslaagd: perfect licht van A-merk lampen, 10 ton CO2 besparing per jaar en een investering die we binnen 1,5 jaar hadden terugverdiend!
