SWITCHOVER MEDIA was established in July 2009 with the management buy-out from The Walt Disney Company of some of Jetix Italy’s assets owned by former Fox Kids/Jetix
Italian independent TV broadcaster Switchover Media operates:

- GXT (and GXT+1), the pay TV channel exclusively available through Sky Italia Entertainment Package and aiming at a young-male audience.
Thanks to K2 and FRISBEE’s combined audience, in 2010 SWITCHOVER MEDIA stood out as the #1 Kids channel provider in Italy, keeping the leadership in 2011
In June 2011 Switchover Media expanded with Switchover Licensing, the in-house licensing unit
developing licensing, franchise management, and brand marketing activities related to programming aired on K2 and FRISBEE.
