While trying to study online and up-skill we found that we kept asking ourselves two seemingly simple questions:
- What do we actually need to learn so that we can understand a subject fully (modules, topics, prerequisites etc)?
- Where do we find the best material to study a course?
We have used may of the educational platforms currently available and found that MOOCs are very self contained, watered down and rarely go into any depth or give you greater perspective of the subject.
This lead us to develop SylliMe. Syllime takes the (freely available) syllabuses from world leading institutions for any given subject and combines them with the best free resources we’ve crawled on the web. Giving a more in-depth learning experience in an easy to use environment.
Resources come in a variety of mediums including articles, videos, pdf’s and audio files. So there is something for every student.
