Since inception in Melbourne in 1998, Systemwide grew to become the largest dedicated Rail Planning consultancy in Australia, comprising 13 full time professional staff and 3 part time administrative staff. The business was acquired by Scott Wilson Engineering and subsequently became part of the URS corporate entity.
Systemwide was founded on the belief that rail operations are the critical interface between investment and customer experience, and that effective solutions in this complex area require both ‘hands on’ industry expertise and rigorous scientific and technical analysis. With staff from diverse backgrounds including railway operations and planning, mathematics, engineering and computer science, we were all proud to have helped so many of our clients make strategic choices that delivered a positive customer experience and successful railway projects.
