Schwere Krankheit, Verlust des Elternhauses, familiäre Krisen, körperliche und sexuelle Gewalt sind die zentralen Lebenserfahrungen der Kinder und Jugendlichen, die in unserer Tabaluga Kinderstiftung betreut werden. Gerade Gewalt gegen Kinder ist in Deutschland noch immer ein allgegenwärtiges Problem. Nach dem ersten Aufschrei der Entrüstung sind die Opfer aber meist schnell vergessen - die Kinder bleiben in ihrem „stillen“ Trauma zurück, wenn sie keine umfassende Hilfe bekommen.
Die Tabaluga Kinderstiftung hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, für betroffene Kinder wieder lebens- und liebenswürdige Bedingungen zu schaffen. Sie steht dafür, Kindern, die bisher auf der Schattenseite des Lebens standen, ihre Lebensfreude und Würde zurück zu geben.
Allen ihr anvertrauten Mädchen und Jungen ermöglicht unsere Stiftung einen geregelten und beschützten Alltag und ein breites Spektrum an Therapien. Sich bei Tabaluga zuhause zu fühlen und die vielen unterschiedlichen Angebote, wie Reit-, Musik- und Kunst- aber auch Gesprächs- und Spieltherapie tragen dazu bei, dass die Kinder ihre negativen Erfahrungen positiv bewältigen und wieder Vertrauen in ihr Leben gewinnen können.
Jedes Kind hat ein Recht auf ein unbeschwertes Leben in Geborgenheit.
