Research activities in the group are focused on the development of control and protection algorithms and applications, and performing system analysis considering the challenges in modern and future power systems.

Analysis of the operation of Estonian HVDC connections considering various future scenarios.
Analysis and development of the power system wide-area protection concept in the scope of Estonian power system protection principles.
