Teach For Madagascar is a non-profit organization founded in November 2014. Its mission is to mobilize, recruit, and train educated individuals to contribute to the education sector. On November 8, 2021, Teach For Madagascar oficially became a non-governmental organization (NGO) and signed an agreement with the Ministry of National Education. Since its inception, TFM has recruited over 1,000 volunteers to participate in its programs. LET'S READ: DIARY NOFY (2019 - present)
Launched in September 2019, the Let's Read project aims to promote the love of reading among Malagasy children. Through its flagship program, Diary Nofy, up to 2024, 60,000 storybooks of two editions have been printed in Malagasy, French, and English, as well as in audio and Braille formats, and circulated in over 10,000 EPPs (public primary schools), schools for visually impaired children, and associations working with children.
