Team Alzheimer is een samenwerkingsverband van AmsterdamUMC en het bedrijfsleven. Ons doel is om brainpower en organisatiekracht van ~30 toptalenten uit toonaangevende Nederlandse organisaties te bundelen om
innovatieve fund-rasing projecten in de markt te zetten; dit gedurende de tijd van ongeveer 1 jaar, naast de normale baan en onder begeleiding van KPMG en McKinsey voor een optimaal resultaat en leerzame ervaring.
De teams worden uitgedaagd om op een innovatieve manier samen te ondernemen om zoveel mogelijk inkomsten voor onderzoek naar de ziekte van Alzheimer te genereren. Deelnemers komen in één van de vier teams en zij zijn vrij om binnen kaders eigen invulling te geven aan fund-rasing initiatieven.
Een uitgebreid netwerk van bedrijven en ervaren experts die zitting hebben in Raad van Advies en bestuur zorgen ervoor dat de deelnemers veel leren maar ook dat er voor het doel substantieel geld wordt opgehaald.
