Onze vrijwilligers weten als geen ander, hoe het is om in een ontwrichte situatie te zitten en wat ons heeft geholpen in het herstel. Dit maakt dat zij goed aan kunnen sluiten bij de belevingswereld van de jongere. Een ED is er voor de jongere, daar waar het nodig is, wanneer het nodig is en staat de ED naast de jongere.
TeamED is niet in plaats van, maar aanvullend op de hulpverlening die de jongere al ontvangt.
Daarnaast wil TeamED haar kennis en ervaring inzetten om het systeem beter te laten aansluiten bij degenen voor wie de hulp bedoeld is. Hierdoor hebben we ook regelmatig gesprekken met andere partijen, zoals gemeenten, wethouders, begeleiders van zorginstellingen, etc en werken wij samen met hogescholen, onderzoeksinstituten en met beleid binnen gemeenten.
Bij team ED kun je je, als ervaringsdeskundige, dus ook volop ontwikkelen! Er komen steeds meer betaalde functies en opdrachten.
