Techniblock Suncare Ltd is a small, family-run business that prides itself on providing high quality suncare products and an excellent customer service experience.
We discovered Techniblock following numerous visits to South Africa. Despite the relentless heat and wall-to-wall sunshine, we kept cool and sunburn-free by using Techniblock Sunscreen. We quickly realised that it was a very unique product and, with our considerable experience in sales and knowledge of marketing and creating brand awareness, we firmly believed that we had the ability to introduce Techniblock to the UK market and make it a success. We travelled to Johannesburg in 2009, met with the manufacturers and secured ourselves an exclusive agreement to import and sell Techniblock Sun Protection products in the UK.
Our business has grown from strength to strength since that first meeting in 2009. We have an extremely loyal customer base who, having used Techniblock,, agree that it really is the best sunscreen on the market because it is so easy to apply and really does protect against sunburn. We've recently introduced a new SPF 50 that specifically for active people who enjoy sports such as running, cycling and sailing. The ultra-mist spray is breathable and light and free from oxybenzone and octinoxate so it's reef-friendly too. As the Techniblock range grows, our vision is to become a leading contender in the field of sun protection in the future. We have also brought an excellent South African insect repellent to the UK and European market - Peaceful Sleep is the No. 1 choice for safari rangers and protects against insect bites for up to 8 hours. Clean and breathable on the skin with a light, pleasant smell, it is available in spray or stick format.
