Telas houdt zich bezig met de ontwikkeling van een innovatieve, makkelijk aantrekbare therapeutische compressiekous. Hiermee worden zorgkosten bespaard en krijgt de gebruiker zijn vrijheid terug.
In oktober 2024 is Telas geselecteerd voor een Interreg CrossCare 2.0-project, dat t/m december 2025 loopt. CrossCare stimuleert, ondersteunt en versnelt innovaties in de zorg, en draagt bij aan de ontwikkeling en implementatie van zorginnovaties door het aanbieden van een zorgproeftuinsetting, en beschikt over een fonds waarmee innovatieprojecten kunnen worden ondersteund. CrossCare biedt een toegankelijke weg naar het realiseren van zorginnovatie op grotere schaal. Het is een grensoverschrijdend project van Interreg Vlaanderen-Nederland en ondersteunt zowel op praktisch als financieel gebied.
Het CrossCare 2.0-programma biedt Telas een unieke mogelijkheid om de prototypes van de therapeutische elastische kousen in samenwerking met zorgproeftuinen in Vlaanderen en Nederland te evalueren. In deze proeftuinen wordt er over de kousen feedback verzameld van patiënten, zorgprofessionals en mantelzorgers, met als doel de gebruikservaring te optimaliseren en de nadelen van bestaande kousen te elimineren. Binnen het project wordt er een iteratieve ontwikkelaanpak gevolgd, waarbij de kous stap voor stap wordt verbeterd op basis van feedback uit de expertinterviews, demo-sessies en live testen, om het klaar te maken voor de zorgmarkt.
