Het digitale TeleMC platform maakt zorg op afstand mogelijk tussen eerste-, tweede- en derdelijns zorgverleners. Meer dan 4500 zorgverleners door heel Nederland maken gebruik van het TeleMC platform voor teleconsultatie en functieonderzoek.
Het platform brengt vraag en aanbod op efficiënte wijze samen. Zorgaanbieders zoals; ziekenhuizen en artsenlaboratoria, leveren zorg die aansluit bij de vraag van huisartsen en zorggroepen en de wens van patiënten: dichtbij huis, kostenefficiënt en transparant.
Het platform wordt gebruikt door de specialismen: cardiologie, dermatologie, interne geneeskunde, longgeneeskunde en oogheelkunde. Uitbreiding naar meer specialismen volgt snel. 80% van de Nederlandse ziekenhuizen is via het TeleMC platform bereikbaar.
TeleMC is ontstaan uit het eerste Nederlandse teleconsultatie initiatief in 1998 – teledermatologie – en is marktleider op het gebied van teleconsultatie en digitaal functieonderzoek.
In 2011 is TeleMC samengegaan met ZorgDomein, waardoor voor huisartsen kennis toegankelijk is op een breed platform. U bereikt het TeleMC platform in ZorgDomein (via tab telezorg), in verschillende KISsen of los van andere applicaties.
