Tender Loving Calls (TLC) is a subscription telephone messaging, reminder and reassurance system, enabling children, relatives and friends to care for their aging loved ones from a distance by providing constant contact, reassurance and help to otherwise isolated senior citizens (and others) living at home.
Most seniors would rather stay in their own homes thanvmove to expensive, full-‐‑time, residential care facilities. The problem is that helping the frail elderly cope with essential everyday routines (such as taking medication on time, remembering important appointments and even checking whether they need vital help) becomes a daily chore for their loved ones.
